Hello All-

I wanted to write and clarify about KCI and the Gator Open.

The Gator Open will be Wednesday June 19 in the morning instead of practice.  The  Gator open in the past has been a meet for all swimmers that did not qualify for the KCI meet held Friday/Saturday June 21/22.

Due to the shortened season, the few swimmers we have had qualify, and the fees associated with KCI, we decided this year to not take coaches to the KCI meet and take the weekend off.

We currently have 6 swimmers that have qualified in more than 1 event for KCI.  If you would like to take your swimmers to the KCI meet, we can enter you and spilt the cost for the entry fee among those going.  I have attached the information about the meet if you are interested.  This meet allows all swimmers from any league and there are many year round swimmers at the meet and the meet goes all day.  

If you have KCI times and decide to not attend the KCI meet, you can attend the Gator open.  You have 2 choices:

1.  Sign up for the races that you do not have KCI times

2.  Sign up with me for any races you would like to swim (you will not be eligible for ribbons at the Gator Open but can get your best times that will be recorded)

If you decide to go to KCI, we would love to still have you attend practice Wednesday morning for warmup and to help with the meet and get free pancakes- and to socialize with your teammates of course-
