Parents and Swimmers-

What a great meet Saturday! So proud of each swimmer's high effort! 

We had 65 total improved times- which was 47.45%!  WOW!

The results from the meet are attached.

The "buddy of the meet" this week was Bo Wood. He did a great job helping both his buddies in the swimmeet- cheering them on and giving them tips along the way:)

This week's female swimmer of the meet was Shaylea Cordova.  This 9-year-old comes to practice with the older group every day and her hard work paid off this week.  She successfully completed a 50 fly, dropped time in her events, and even swam in a relay when she was feeling sick.  So proud!  

This week's male swimmer of the meet was Mason  Drexel-Risch. Mason dropped time in all his events, cheered on his fellow teammates, and even swam up in the 13-14 boys' relay.  He incorporated all the things we have been working on in practice into his strokes in the meet.  Excellent work Mason!

This week we will be working on fine-tuning our strokes and building endurance.

We have 1 more dual meet at home, and then the league meet.

Registration for our home meet next weekend is open and will close Wednesday at 5:00 pm. We will practice relay exchanges Thursday morning. Practice on Thursday is mandatory for those who are placed in relays for the next weekend.
