Meet July 9, 2022
Parents and Swimmers-
Awesome meet yesterday! So proud of each swimmers perfect effort! We once again had so many best times...
Total Improved Times 71
Pct Improved Times 45.81%
Thank you to all the "buddies" - It was amazing seeing most of the swimmers knowing their buddy before the meet- we did not even have to pair most of them up!
This week's female swimmer of the meet is Mercy Freedman. Mercy swam the 50 fly so that her age group could have a relay and improved all her times this week. She is a joy to coach- always has an awesome attitude and such a hard worker!
This week's male swimmer of the meet is Noah Boller. Noah shows up to practice on time everyday and works so hard to improve. Even though he is a late starter and this is his first season to be on a swim team, he listens to coaching and gives his perfect effort. This week he dropped time in every event and dropped 13 seconds in his 100 breastroke! So proud of you Noah!
A special shout-out to the 8-under boys and girls medley relays this week for finishing their relay legal! They have worked to hard to get their new strokes right and this is the first week they were able to complete the relays without being disqualified! Amazing!
Additionally, it was awesome watching our parent relay! So fun!! Lets try to get more relays out there next year:)
We only have 2 meets left. Next weekend in at Ken Caryl and the following weekend is the League meet! We will have our swim team party on July 27!
Please make an effort to attend all practices you can these last 2 weeks:)
Enjoy your Sunday and stay cool- see you all soon-
Reach out if you need anything-
Blessings-
Coach JO
