Swimming meet June 4

This email contains a lot of information so please read carefully.

The June 4th Woodbourne meet is now open for signup. 

Please indicate if you are attending or NOT attending the meet. **IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ALL SWIMMERS TO SAY YES OR NO THE THE MEET!  It helps us prepare the relays for the meet.

The sign-up will close Thursday, June 2nd at 10:00 pm. You may sign up for 3 individual events. Griffin and I will set up relays on Thursday.

Below are the Instructions of How to Sign Up for the Meet on Swimtopia.

  • Go to Meets and Events
  • Go to Signups Calendar
  • Select the June 4th BK, CK & WB meet
  • Open the Meet Entry (Green button)
  • EDIT to open entry sign up
  • Select either Attending this meet or NOT attending this meet (If attending, the entry list will open)
  • Click an event or events to swim ( May choose 3 individual events)
  • If you have multiple children, enter each one individually
  • Please indicate if you can swim in relays, need to leave early, arriving late, or can’t do relays.
  • If you have any additional information for the coach, please indicate it in the notes for coach box.
  • Make sure you click on the SAVE (at the bottom), if you do not SAVE, then your child will not be registered for the meet

**Please note:  

I will review all entries Thursday morning and make sure each swimmer is legal in the events they signed up for.  If changes need to be made, I will make the changes so be sure to review your swimmer's entries before the meet Saturday.  

I will be forming the relays Thursday morning and it is pertinent that swimmers that are assigned relays try to make practices on Friday in order to practice exchanges and details for the relay.  If you will not be at practice Friday before the meet, please indicate this in the notes section when signing up for the meet:)

I am so excited for our first meet Saturday.  New swimmers/families please read the Swim Meet 101 under MEETS in Swimtopia.

Additionally, please review the healthy snack list  and be sure your swimmers has healthy snacks, googles and a cap at the meet.
